With over 20 years of practical experience, Mr. Conard has built an impressive resume in all phases of the design and construction process.  He has honed his management skills with hands on experience and exposure to become a well-informed  and savvy businessperson to lead a growing architecture practice.
 
Mr. Conard has served as Project Architect for a diverse set of clients including several examples each of rail transportation, office, university, K-12 education, library, zoological, human services, correctional and testing facility projects. Focusing on improving organizational operations, occupant comfort and building performance, Mr. Conard develops design solutions that integrate functional and technological solutions in a dynamic environment.
 
Building a collaborative relationship with the client throughout the design and construction process has been the hallmark of his professional excellence.  He succeeds at nurturing lines of communication with all members of the design and construction effort to meet the goal with responsiveness and efficiency.
 
As a LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Conard is guiding the firm’s environmentally responsible, sustainable practices.  His certification by the International Code Council as an Accessibility Inspector / Plan Examiner has positioned UCI Architects, Inc. as a leader in barrier-free design. Mr. Conard received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
 
Mr. Conard is dedicated to enhancing the relationship of the community’s youth to their built environment through teaching public school architecture workshops, judging model building competitions and serving as facilities chair to a local youth organization.
