The high-rise building was stripped down to its existing structure and underwent a thorough renovation and repositioning as a Class A office building. The building infrastructure was fit out for energy efficiency, water conservation and thermal comfort. Finishes were selected that highlight recycled, renewable and regional materials. Windows were added throughout to bring more natural light and views of the city skyline. The once dark lobby is now bathed in light with west-facing windows that wash new cherry paneling and terrazzo flooring. The renovation of 3020 Market Street in Philadelphia by UCI Architects received LEED® Silver certification
