Intermodal Transportation Center, Philadelphia Zoo (Unbuilt)
Recreation

The purpose of the Intermodal Transportation Project at the Philadelphia Zoo is to alleviate peak visitor congestion and expand visitor amenities. The intermodal station welcomes those arriving by bus, trolley, car, and bike providing a space to gather before proceeding to the main entrance of the Zoo. The design integrates green strategies and zoo themes to visually lighten the functional program of the building.
