When Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) celebrated their 75th anniversary of service to the medical profession, UCI Architects redesigned their national headquarters to better reflect their corporate image and service focus. The project encompassed the design of major spaces encountered by visiting guests including the main lobby, the reception area, and the Board Room. The cherry wood wall panels in the main lobby welcome the visitor with a warm and inviting palette. The custom millwork and accent lighting highlights the shadow box centerpiece, commissioned to illustrate the history and significance of the organization. The Board Room features a custom-designed cherry table that incorporates data, voice, amplification and recording infrastructure for board meetings and video conferencing.
